Los Angeles Authentic Mexican Bar Reviews - El Paseo Inn Mexican Food

"My wife and I came by on a very busy day and expected to wait for a table. Instead, we were seated immediately. Service was incredibly fast, and I was shocked at how quickly our food arrived. In the meantime, I was snacking on the chips and salsa - which were fantastic. My enchiladas were delicious, and I left with a clean plate. They even gave us a couple complimentary dessert cookies. Reasonable price, great atmosphere!"

"Came here from Orange County to visit Olvera Street for the first time. Waited in line for El Paseo Inn, because it was the busiest place on Olvera. Well deserved btw. Tableside Guacamole was awesome, as was the homemade sopes and margaritas. Isabel was helpful and attentive. Definitely a good lunch stop!"

"First time going to this restaurant and it was amazing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Table side guac was really good and they make it right in front of you - made to order! I ordered the enchiladas with cheese and black beans and rice on the side. Used red and green sauce! By far one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in LA."

"I got top service here from a nice little lady. I came for Drinks with some friends and it was a great time. I recommend the Mexican Mule and the Pepino y Menta margarita.

The salsa had just enough heat for my taste and the chips felt guiltless, as if they were baked. My party of 5 enjoyed the guacamole prepared at the table and the Mojitos were spot on. My entrée was prepared exactly the way I had ordered it. Overall, I would definitely visit El Paseo again! (Vegan Friendly)"

"When visiting Olvera Street make sure you stop by El Paseo restaurant it's a great place .. The food is delicious and not pricey. The waiter gave good service and the manager came by a few times as well.. the accommodation they made for us was not an inconvenience considering we require wheelchair access...we were seated almost right away.. the authenticity of the food reminds me of Mexico.. not to mention the great tasty menudo they serve on the weekends... I will continue to come here and I recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of Mexico.."
